The future is here. High-speed internet to every residence and business in Conklin. In a press release, it was announced that TELUS and the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo are investing $21 million to connect communities directly to the TELUS PureFibre optic network. Every residence and business will be connected by end of 2023.
This is a game changer for Conklin. High-speed internet to every home and business will be transformative for our community. The PureFibre network build comes at no cost to Conklin members. The only cost is if individuals or businesses choose to sign up for a service and there is no obligation to do so. For members with financial challenges, there are plans in place to reduce cost of internet and mobility services. Please check out the overview for more information!
The TELUS PurFibre enables download speeds up to 1500 Mbps and upload speeds up to 940 Mbps. Aside from the internet, it also enables other TELUS products and services such as:
- TELUS Optik TV
- Voice Services
- TELUS Health MyCare
- LivingWell Companion
- TELUS Secure Business
