Promoting cultural preservation through cultural events that enhance Métis knowledge, practices, and lessons in life that have been passed down by our Ancestors.
Supporting and promoting educational and training initiatives in the community that offer opportunities for professional development and cultural and traditional knowledge as well as building relationships with industry, government and educational facilitators to create a greater understanding of community issues, values, and expectations.
EDUCATION
HEALTH & PUBLIC SAFETY
Promoting health and social issues in our community to help advocate access to basic human rights such as accessibility to clean drinking water, health care, and social services.
Supporting the community development by making recommendations regarding resource development proposals, including intervention in regulatory process. Building relationships with industry partners and government to create a greater shared understanding of community issues, values, and expectations.
INDUSTRY & GOVERNMENT RELATIONS
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Owning shares or other units of investment in for-profit enterprises where the community is the ultimate beneficiary.
