This special event brings the people of Conklin together through Métis culture and heritage, providing a platform to pass on traditional knowledge to youth and families, and exercise our rights as Aboriginal People and preserve our spirituality.
What a GREAT event! A special thank you to our subcommittee, donors, and the many helping hands that have helped make this a success. This year, the event was held at the beloved Wassassi Park and Christina Lake. Today, Wassassi Park remains the only beach access for our community. The 3-day event was filled with games, meal sharing, fishing, and many activities for families and friends!
