The fire hasn’t seen significant growth and weather is favourable; it is forecasted to be on our side over the next couple of days. Alberta Wildfire crews are working on containment and mobilizing equipment to enhance the fire guards in place for Conklin and Janvier.
Dry days are expected and fire behaviour may increase. Projected fire growth is not expected in the West towards Conklin.
