Updates on LWF136, LWF152, and LWF164.
LWF 136
LWF136 is northwest of Janvier and is approximately 500 ha and is still classified as out of control. Janvier evacuated fully today. They were not ordered to evacuate but chose to for safety. The fire is moving east toward 881 at a slow rate.
LWF 152
LFW-152 is approximately 5km directly north of MEG. It is approximately 125 ha and is still classified as out of control. MEG has sent home all non-essential staff. The fire is moving NE at a slow rate.
LWF 164
LWF164 is a new fire that is 12km NE of Conklin and 1.5km east of Hwy 881. The fire is 35 ha and is out of control. The fire is travelling east at a slow rate.
There is no call for an evacuation order for Conklin at this time. Hwy 881 is open, although Alberta 511 says it is closed north of Janvier. RCMP have confirmed it is open in both directions.
