LWF136 – An update from the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo
The fire near Janvier (LWF136) is located 15km NW of Janvier and 1.5km W of Highway 881. The wildfire situation in the region is fluid and Alberta Forestry is using every available resource. Giving forestry time to action LWF136, hopefully suppression efforts are effective to give a status change. We have sprinklers within the municipal resources that can be applied, if needed.
