Wildfire Update
An overnight infrared drone scan was performed on LWF164. Crews will focus on the hotspot targets identified by those scans.
Another cooler day ahead with temperatures rising to a high of 22C and a chance of a thunderstorm. Winds will be light to moderate from the east to southeast with relative humidity values in the 40 per cent range. There are currently 15 active wildfires in the Lac La Biche Forest Area. Of those, four are out of control, nine are being held and two are under control. Wildfire danger in the Lac La Biche forest area is HIGH!
