Join CRDAC in welcoming Dean Olson as our housing program handyman! Dean was raised in Conklin and attended school here, in Fort McMurray and Edmonton. Dean is looking forward to working right here at home after a career on the road as a musician! Dean says he’s happy trading in long days of driving and strumming to help keep our homes in tip top shape. Please thank Dean for joining the CRDAC team when you see him next.

Exciting news! Our greenhouse program is underway, and we are excited to welcome Kevin Adby as our Garden and Greenhouse Facilitator! We thrilled about a program that will help grow our food locally, provide training in gardening and support a traditional approach to food. Kevin is a life-long Conklin resident, apart from stints for school in Fort McMurray, Edmonton and Lac La Biche. Kevin’s career was in the oil sands, but one of his real passions was gardening. So now his hobby is becoming his job, all for the benefit of Conklin. Kevin says he’s committed to increasing food security in Conklin, helping the community to learn more about growing food, and helping to ensure food stability and nutritious food for our community. Help us welcome Kevin!
Please join us in welcoming Kevin and Dean in their new roles with the CRDAC and community!
