LWF090 was detected Monday afternoon. It is OUT OF CONTROL at approximately 71,987ha 19.4km east of Conklin.
Alberta Wildfire and RMWB are working together to review structure protection plans as a precaution within the community of Conklin.
Heavy smoke in the area from LWF090 and fires to the west in Slave Lake Forest Area have decreased fire behaviour during the day on Friday. Some growth observed in the northeast overnight.
There are crews and dozers working on the northwest side of the fire this morning.

Saturday has a high of 30°C with winds from the south/southeast at 15-20km/hr gusting 45km/hr changing to from the northwest in the evening.
