LWF090 was detected Monday afternoon. It is OUT OF CONTROL at approximately 68,387ha 20km east of Conklin and 4.2km west of CPFN Winefred Lake 194B.
Helicopters, dozer groups and firefighter crews have been on the fire today.
Heavy smoke in the area from LWF090 and fires to the west in Slave Lake Forest Area have decreased fire behaviour during the day on Friday. Early evening, the east side had increased fire activity.

Temperatures today ranged from 18-25°C with winds from the northwest 15-20km/hr gusting 45km/hr and from west later at 10-15km/hr. Saturday has a high of 30°C with winds from the south at 15-20km/hr gusting 45km/hr changing to from the northwest in the evening.
