LWF090 was detected Monday afternoon. It is OUT OF CONTROL at 18,952ha 24.2km southeast of Conklin and 14km southwest of CPFN Winefred Lake 194B.
Helicopters, air tankers, dozer groups and crews have been working on the fire since Monday afternoon.
Fire is very active in coniferous stands, moving north Thursday evening and is expected to move east overnight.

Due to extreme fire behaviour conditions, direct attack is not possible at this time.
Weather Forecast
Temperatures will range from 24-34°C with winds from the south at 20km/hr gusting to 40km/hr. There is a chance of thunderstorms overnight tonight and winds changing to from the west at midnight tonight, Thursday, 20km/hr gusting to 40km/hr.
