LWF090 is OUT OF CONTROL and has been mapped at 62,040ha. It is 17.8km from Conklin, 28km from Janvier and 4.2km from the closest Winefred north cabin.
Alberta Wildfire and RMWB are working together on structure protection within the community of Conklin and the Winefred Lake cabins as a precaution only.
There has been minimal fire behaviour on the fire over the last two days with the rainfall received, cooler weather and favourable winds. This has assisted in the building of containment lines by dozers and firefighters on the north end of the fire.
This will be the last community update unless there is a significant change in fire behaviour.

There is a warming trend over the next three days, 15°C today to 22°C by Thursday. Winds will be from the northwest for the next two days 10-20km/hr and shifting to from the southwest by late Wednesday for Thursday at 15km/hr.
