Conklin Resource Development Advisory Committee (“CRDAC”) is holding its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. at the Conklin Multiplex located at 244 Northland Drive. The CRDAC is inviting all CRDAC Members of the Society to attend.
Members of the Society are those persons who are eighteen (18) years of age, has been ordinarily resident in the Community for six (6) months AND is either:
(a) A member of the Conklin Métis Local 193 (“CML 193”), or
(b) The child of one or more members of CML 193, or
(c) Is genealogically (by birth or adoption) of Métis ancestry, or
(d) On the list of eligible voters in the most recent Conklin Community Association (“CCA”).
Refreshments and pizza will be served at this event. Door prizes will also be made available!
An official notice is scheduled for delivery to each household by end of week. We look forward to your attendance by person. Please note that proxies will not be recognized in accordance with the CRDAC bylaws.
Election and Appointment of one (1) Métis Elder
An election will be held by secret ballot will be held at the Annual General Meeting. A nomination form must be submitted by a member of CRDAC for the election of the Métis Elder to the CRDAC Board of Directors. The term will be one-year.
Deadline to submit the completed Nomination Form is 5 PM on Tuesday, November 5.
