The Municipality is continuing the Rural Water & Sewer Servicing Connection program in your community. You can expect to see construction crews mobilize from June 9. The work is scheduled to start in June and continue through the construction season into the fall of 2026.
BACKGROUND:
The work is part of the Rural Water and Sewer Services and will include water, sewer and road rehabilitation works. Work is planned to start near the CN Railroad Track Crossing on Christina Lake Drive. There will be full road closures and partial road closures throughout the construction.

COMMUNITY BENEFIT:
The benefits of the community following the completion of the RWSS Connection Program is that residents will have access to municipal services eliminating the need for trucked in services. Additionally, a new road surface will be built.

When Christina Lake Drive between Conklin Road and Father Mercredi Trail is closed, please use Father Mercredi Trail for accessing Christina Lake Drive.
There will be road closures and partial road closures throughout the construction. Please follow all posted signage and diversions where applicable.
DRIVEWAY INTERRUPTION:
Crews will work to maintain access to the residential driveways throughout the construction. However, there may be times when the driveway access is temporarily unavailable. The contractor will be provided advance notice whenever access needs to be restricted.
Some driveway interruption, road and lane closure is expected.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR RESIDENTS:
Please obey all signage. Residential access will be maintained to the best of our ability, however there will be times where driveway access will not be available. The contractor will communicate these driveway closures prior to blocking access.
Starting June 9th, Christina Lake Drive between Northland Drive and Father Mercredi Trail closed, please use Father Mercredi Trail for accessing Christina Lake Drive and Northland Drive.
